		I wanted to explore a little bit into how promotion would work for these types of products. I know that social media plays a huge role in self-advertisement, and is how I found most of the artists that I contacted for an interview. Which shows just how effective it can be to advertise through social media. Interestingly, there are direct advertising tools within social apps such as Instagram. I wanted to have a little look at the process of this and to see exactly what they offer.
	

		I think it's really great all the different options that you get with this, including choosing and customising your target audience. It could be a really effective tool for growing illustrators who want to promote their illustrated products, who may still be growing their following.
	

		I would say that photography is really important. Social media is your absolute best friend in terms of growing and promoting, Platforms like Etsy and NOTHS are amazing for people discovering your shop, even though they take fees I think it's well worth it.
