Printing Illustrated Products
Printing Illustrated Products and the processes needed.
There are a large variety of places that illustrators can easily get their work printed onto products for relatively cheap, and after some preparation of the artwork wanted. I decided to go with print.work and get some stickers printed from some previous work. Some quick preparation of the files made for a smooth and quick delivery of the stickers. I wanted to get these printed because I thought it would be really interesting and more informative to deal with one of these companies with first-hand experience.
There were many options for sizes, shapes and formats, as well as textures and finishes. This is extremely helpful to artists when looking into creating illustrated products, and the fact that they can prepare the files and keep them, so they can send them off and get the exact same stickers or products printed at a later date really helps with a consistent quality for their business as an illustrator. On top of this, there are many other websites and shops that deal with printing onto different products.
Using a website such as redbubble is a really useful way for illustrated to get a large variety products with their illustrations on. There's everything from notebooks, pillows, hoodies, clocks, etc. And every one of the products is individually editable or able to be disabled if you wish not to sell a certain product. I uploaded an old piece of art just to see how it would look, and was pleasantly surprised by some of the default options it gave me before editing any of the designs.
